Make a Win98 'emergency' boot disk. You can do this from Start/Settings/Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. There is a tab to create a startup disk. NT loads and executes bootsect.dos to start ME (the ME's Partition Boot Record). So just editing boot.ini will remove it from the menu.
